Honeymoon (Part II)
Quebec City, Canada
Take a step back in time to France but in Canada!
Where we stayed:
The one and only Chateau Frontenac (Fairmont Hotel). Save your money, stay here, it is the only option for really experiencing Quebec. DO IT!
Spotted: Airforce Ones
Where we ate:
- Cafe Bistro Du Cap- This was one of the most enjoyable meals in all of our travels. A wife and husband own this small, maybe seats 30 people cafe and the food and ambiance is outstanding. Jaggs and I had a two hour dinner and just felt like we were tucked away in Paris.
- Le Petit Cochon Dinque- Great breakfast spot with HUGE cappuccinos
- LePain Beni- Fondue anyone
What we did:
- Lower Town- great shops, touristy, but worth walking around the cobble stone streets
- Old Quebec- rich in history and beautiful
- La Korrigane- beer beer beer
- There is a Christmas store that is decorated year around that is not to be missed (nerd alert)
Looking back:
- We really enjoyed Quebec, it is charming, quaint, but still a major city. I didn't really do enough research on restaurants outside of the "Old Town/Lower Town" but there is lots to see! Really say at the Chateau, you will not be disappointed. It is stunning.
